Has the content creator/influencer business model gone bearish? Glamour seems to think so. We disagree. The Paramount/Skydance deal is finally done...we think.Spotify is beginning to court more video podcasts. Is it working in their fight against YouTube? And BusinessWeek has a 120-page print issue on the way. Does this mean a new opportunity in print?Wins and losses include ArtBotAI and Mohawk Chevy. Rants and raves include Trump speaking at the Bitcoin Conference and AI spammers.

Interesting mix of topics. The dynamics in the content creator world are always changing. Paramount's deal is intriguing, and Spotify's move into video podcasts is worth watching. BusinessWeek's print issue may signal a shift. As for Trump at the Bitcoin Conference... quite the spectacle

Soooooo.... What does the Hive Mind here think about the new "catch up" tab here on the platform.... Not sure I like it.... But not sure I don't like it either.... It feels like the "notifications" tab is now just mentions... I wonder if this is a step toward a more "for you" type of tab.... Thoughts?

Hey there.... Anybody in my network out there a head of PR for a chapter based (e.g. lots of local offices) Non-Profit - or public information officers for a government institution.... I'd love to ask you a couple of questions about your role - and specifically about what you might find useful.... I'm doing a research project.... Happy to just trade a few dms if that works ...

So here's an interesting irony....So - over the last couple of weeks there's been lots of news (Adobe, Meta et al.) of marketers/creators worried about Big Tech's ability to access, reuse, distribute, and create derivative works out of content they put on those platforms. Marketers and creators have been duly outraged by this.Of course by signing up for those platforms and agreeing to the TOS you've immediately assigned all those licenses to the platforms. Here's the irony: Most of the platforms that marketers use have more rights to the company's content than the marketers for those companies themselves.
