How do I get verified on MileSplit? ›

Once on the desired athlete's profile page, you will find a button titled "Claim Athlete" under their name and basic info. Click this button. You must enter in an applicable phone number incase we need further verification. If you are claiming yourself, select "This Is Me" where it asks for your relationship.

Open the meet page of your meet and hover over the "Add Content" button. This will show you a select that says "Add Results". This will open up a text box. Paste the results into the text box and label the results "Complete Results".

Once you've filled in the verification application details, hit Submit and congrats: you've sent off your request. Generally within about 30 days, Instagram will notify you in your activity feed whether your application was successful or not. If so, you'll get the Instagram verification badge right away.

MileSplit's meet registration system is completely free! It's free to host your meet and it's free to register your team.

Right-click a result file and select Open or Explore.

Note: If you need to add new athletes, simply Add Athlete to right of page and fill out First Name, Last Name, their high school graduation year, and the season you'd like to make them appear active for.

About verification

To be verified, your Page must adhere to the Terms of Service and Community Standards. It must also have a profile photo, cover photo and a Page name that follows the naming guidelines. Find out what Page names are allowed on Facebook.

The purpose of verification is to ensure inmates are not connecting with inappropriate people on the outside. The verification process is simple and can be completed before or after creating an account. To be verified, you can make a deposit, schedule a visit or download and complete the Telmate Verified form.
